Keep your handmade crochet bag looking beautiful with proper care
Spot Clean (Preferred)
Use a damp cloth with mild soap or detergent to gently dab stains. This is the gentlest method and helps preserve the shape and texture of your bag.
Hand Wash (If Needed)
- •Submerge in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent for 15-20 minutes
- •Gently squeeze the water through the fabric
- •Do not scrub or twist the bag
- •Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Machine Wash (Use Caution)
- •Place in a mesh laundry bag for protection
- •Use delicate cycle with cool water only
- •Only suitable for bags made with sturdy cords, not delicate fibers
Things to Avoid
- ✕Hot water - can cause shrinking and shape distortion
- ✕Direct sunlight - may cause fading of colors
- ✕Wringing or twisting - can damage the structure and shape
Drying Tips
After washing, gently press out excess water with a towel. Lay flat or hang to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Reshape while damp to maintain the original form.
